Artificial Additives and Preservatives

Colourings and preservatives have been a vital part of processed food items for quite some time now. In fact the usages of these products have been used widely in almost every processed edible item. A misconception of these food preservatives and additives has been haunting minds of the public. Though many of these substances that have been circulating in the industry are approved by the Food and Drug governing administrations of various countries, not all are perfectly good for health. There are many preservatives and colouring agents that potentially harm one’s health. At the same time, considering all preservatives and colouring agents as a harmful substance is false. Given below are some of the look outs.

Refined Sugar:
Refined sugar is one of the most important additives that potentially harm a living soul. Having refined sugar in amounts considerable isn’t a threat, whereas excessive intake can make a huge difference in one’s metabolism. Some of the major effects that unwarranted sugar can do are create weight gain which likely leads a person to obesity, fatigue, migraines, gum diseases and at worst cases this could also be a factor responsible for breast cancer.

Aspartame-Saccharin:
Added mainly as sweeteners in soft drinks and other such beverages, this created disturbances in neurochemistry of the brain. The high fructose corn syrup content in this is another reason to look out for this additive.

MSG (MonoSodium Glumate)
Another flavouring agent that is used widely in almost every industry producing sugar based diets. Hiding behind many baby formulas, candies and even a wide variety of over the counter medications, MSG stands as a threat mainly to kids. Headaches and nausea is a short term inhibition this reveals. At higher level this also creates panic and irreversible obesity, which studies have claimed to be a growing issue.

These three stand as the basic reason for creating panic within the community. Apart from there are various other additives to watch out for such as, GMO’s, BHA/BHT, Sodium nitrate, Sodium Nitrite, Caffeine and so on. Keeping tabs on what to avoid while eating may be a dubious task which is why experts say us to go for foods that do not contain artificial colouring and artificial preservatives altogether. There are companies manufacturing such eatables without the use of any such artificial substances. Eat healthy and stay healthy and do look out for any such harmful products.

Why Vanilla Rules the Soft Serve World?

Well, to begin with, be it little ones’ or teens; mid age or old age people the times we got to know about the term “ice-creams” since many decades, the very first flavour we would have tasted should definitely be Vanilla. Since vanilla flavour is a clichéd one among all the flavours, the one that is easily available in the stores. Eventually, many people tend to opt for vanilla, when they are tasting softies for the very first time.

The reason why vanilla tops the list or rather being people’s favourite is because of its simplest flavour (an easy by product of milk) without the much infusion of any other additions. More over, the preparation is very easy just with the blends of milk solids, sugar unlike any other flavoured ice-creams.

Keeping that aside, one of the recent trending or rather most of our folks go for is the Soft Serves than frozen ice-creams. How does the soft serve differ from ice-cream? Some distinct factors are that soft serves have got low calorific and cholesterol value whereas; these values are higher among the ice-creams. People who are health concerned would definitely pick soft serves as their favourites of its nutritious value. To that of its name “soft serve” it really drools in your mouth, it not only melts in your mouth but, your heart as well.

Queen of Soft serves” – this should invariably be crowned to Vanilla. It eventually takes the pride because it serves to be the base of every other rich and creamy flavour. Among hundred’s of flavours in the soft serve world right from syrups flavouring to real fruits, without the base of vanilla, nothing could be complete. Lollipop vs Frozen Yogurt

Lollipop is sweet, Frozen yogurts are sweeter. The latest update from Google Android is the “lollipop” and up till now the version seems to run pretty good. The only thing the OS lacks is the sweet taste that Frozen Yogurt offers. That claim was practical, not based on the performance and the likeliness of the Operating System itself. Yes, thought the system upgrades are highly appreciative, the names have been going down.

By far the best of all the names that came into being, Froyo is the one to be chosen. Leave apart the fact that the delicious taste of frozen yogurt, there are various other factors that actually make frozen yogurt the best of all the versions of android that have been the released. (Insisting the point that “The Best” is just the original eatery and not the actual version of Android). Frozen Yogurts have been ruling the dessert section for quiet a long time and the only thing that has been stopping is the support from the traditional ice cream eaters. Well, Soft ServeAustralia is quiet content with both the markets is proud to say that we have been serving the best of both for almost six decades.

#AUSTRALIA #SoftserveIce Cream Killer

Ice Creams are sweet and when they are eaten, but are the sellers as sweet the ice creams? Well, if you think they are, you’ve got to change your views. Estibaliz Carranza, 36 years old, was convicted of murdering her husband in 2008 and later on killed her boyfriend in 2010. This incident made her widely known as the Soft serve Ice cream Machine. The name was not just because the murders were ice cold or for a fact that she owned a ice cream store but because after shooting, the two were hidden under concrete at the basement of the Ice Cream Store.

This incident did make headlines in Austria when she was being convicted. After four years from the incident, Estibalize revealed few mind numbing details on how this happened and for sure these revilements aren’t for faint hearted.

She revealed to the world through her memoir that she used a jigsaw to cut them into pieces and in order to make the sound normal; she turned on the ice cream machine. Above all, she took courses in shooting and for mixing concrete. Turning this into a book, she titled it with 'My Two Lives, The True Story of the Ice Lady'.
